Merry Christmas!
The last several months have been trying, to say the least. Moving from the desert southwest up to the Pacific Northwest was quite a jump for us. Coupled with packing and unpacking, dealing with a house that was delayed (due to Covid) and then with my own father unexpectedly passing away in mid November, I’m sorry to say that I wasn’t in any mood to write.
But, I’m doing a lot better and have resumed work on the two stories that I’m writing concurrently: Case of the Stuttering Parrot (CCF15) and Strike the Spark (DoA2). Plus, as soon as one of ’em is done, which will probably be CCF15, I’m going to be returning to Lentari and working on Blast from the Past (ToL10). It’s a busy schedule and, provided I don’t get any more shocking news, I should be able to maintain it. Fingers crossed for me!
I hope everyone is staying safe out there and you all have an enjoyable Holiday Season. Remember … calories don’t count during this time of year. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Thx, Elizabeth! You, too!
Thank you, Valerie. It was unexpected, to be sure. Nothing will knock you out of your comfort zone quite like a brutal reality check. But … things are getting back to normal. Finally. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you very much, Julie! It's appreciated! The Corgi Case Files wasn't something I had planned on writing all along. Truth be told, they were created as a distraction from my first couple of series, which were fantasies. I need a break from writing about dragons, castles, and magic. So, I decided to try my hand at cozy mysteries, never dreaming they'd overtake my fantasies in popularity.
Right now, there are a total of 14 stories. The fifteenth, Case of the Stuttering Parrot, is almost done and should be published early this year. Stay tuned! I'll post updates here!

I want to thank you for writing Corgi Case Files. I'm a huge corgi fan and when I saw the first book as a daily deal on Amazon I thought "it's got a corgi in it, how bad could it be?"
Well, it was my favorite read of 2021, tied with CCF Book 2. I am now on book 3 and totally in love with those adorable little corgis, the humans and the charming town that I totally want to move to.
I am so happy that I have another (does quick math) 12 cases to look forward to. I love the way you write, the conversational tone of the books, it's like Zack is an old friend telling me stories.
Sorry to hear about your father passing away; Losing a parent is hard no matter what age they are when it happens.
I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Sounds good. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
