Thinking about releasing an omnibus…

I posted this question on my Facebook page, but I also thought I should post this here.

I have a question. Since I have released all three books in the Bakkian Chronicles, I’m thinking about releasing an omnibus, namely all three books as one ebook.

I was also thinking about including the short story I wrote, Bakkian Chronicles – the Disneyland Debacle, with it. It’s a story I wrote for an anthology to benefit Lyndsey Roughton, a young woman dying of cancer.

What do you think? Should I or shouldn’t I? And if I do, what price should I charge?

I’ll also mention that The Lost City is progressing nicely! I’ve since restructured my week to allow for nothing but writing on Wednesdays and Fridays. You know what? It’s working! I’m really enjoying how this story is playing out! I’ve used quite a few of the name suggestions and I’m nowhere close to being done. Thanks again for all the help!

Hi Steve – yeah, I’m definitely gonna do it. All I need is a cover. My wife proposed a really cool idea that combines elements from all three covers, so I’m looking forward to that.

I had a couple fans ask me if I release the omnibus in ebook, will I release one on paperback? The answer is hell yeah! 🙂

I’m a big supporter of the omnibus format so I say go for it. No idea on the pricing issue though.

Hi there VirussMarta! Thank you very much for saying so! The plan was just to release the three books in the trilogy and then move on to something else, but quite a few readers looked me up and encouraged me to keep the story going.

So one night my wife and I chatted for hours, talking about potential storylines. We came up with four possibilities. The other three are waiting in the wings, so to speak. So long story short, more adventures in Lentari are on the way!

All I can say, is that I am extremely happy to see that there is more to this story. I just finished reading the first book and can’t get enough.

The more I think about the omnibus idea, the more I’m convinced that I will do it. Just gotta convince my wife to take elements of the three covers and combine them for a new cover. Graphic artist I am not. 🙂

Well, it was an omni bus for me anyway… Couldn’t stop reading until I finished all three. So… In my opinion this would be a great idea.
