Ye olde notebook is open, displaying thoughts on all aspects of Lentari…  Beads of condensation are seen dripping down a frosty can of Pepsi Max…  A glass jar containing on a few colorful gumballs is sitting on apreviously printed chapter…

The cell phone is off and the corgi is asleep in her chair.  I do believe we’re ready!!   It’s off to Lentari for a solid day of writing!  As I did last year in preparation of Amulet of Aria’s release, every Wednesday I’ll give away 5 ebooks of one of my titles.

I just finished updating the Lentari Gift Shoppe (and thanks to my poor taste in women’s t-shirts, I’ll be updating it again tomorrow).  I’ve removed a few things and was able to add a slew of new products.  I’ve gone through them and have selected the prizes for the winners!  I haven’t got a pic of 3rd place prize yet.  But here’s what 1st and 2nd place winners will win!

Hello everyone!

I’m officially starting my first contest!  Up for grabs is an autographed print copy of my first book, The Prophecy.   There are just a few requirements.  First off, thanks to a batch of Trolls that just won’t leave me alone, you have to fill out the form below.  Trust me, I won’t ever share your info with anyone.  Second, the contest is open to anyone who has Liked the Bakkian Chronicles page on Facebook (the link can be found by clicking the little Facebook button at the top right of the page).  And finally, leave a comment on this post so that I know you were here and tell me who your favorite character was from the series.  They can be in books 1, 2, or 3!

Good luck to all who enter!  And just a quick reminder, I don’t care where you’re from.  Any fan of the series, regardless of country, can enter, new and old!  The contest will go for two weeks, concluding Tuesday, the 9th of April.  At the end of the contest I’ll write down everyone’s names on a slip of paper and present them to Keeley, my corgi (she’s the inspiration for Peanut in the books).  Whichever slip of paper she selects will be the winner!

I just created a new giveaway for a signed paperback copy of Insurrection, second book of the Bakkian Chronicles trilogy.  This is the story that will see a member of Lentari’s royal family kidnapped, the daring rescue, battles with trolls, encounters with griffins, and a dragon and corgi becoming friends (the scene from the cover).

It only took a few days to create, and a few more days to make a couple of minor changes to the text that I had noticed a while ago, but my first book has been officially rereleased from CreateSpace using the gorgeous new cover that Rachel created for it. For those of you that don’t know, she’s the very gifted artist who created the cover for Book II. Her husband, Richard, once again did the title graphics so that it’d be a wonderfully matching set. I put the two books side by side, and trust me, it blows that f-ugly gray thing that PublishAmerica created right out of the water.

So to celebrate, I put a copy of the first book (third edition!) up on a Goodreads giveaway, open to residents of the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, and Australia.
